CHILDREN'S MINISTRIES
Our desire is to turn the hearts of children to the Father by imparting a Godly belief system, training in supernatural living and releasing spiritual giants to impact generations.
Early Education – Birth to 4 Years Old
Our desire is that every child feels safe and secure in our happy classrooms and experiences the love of Jesus during his or her time with us. Our age-appropriate Early Education classrooms are open on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
The Family Room is exclusively for infants and welcomes moms or dads who may need to spend quiet time together with their baby.
The Toddler Room provides 1- and 2-year-olds a playful setting that fits their growing development.
The Preschool Room is a bright, cheerful place for 3- and 4-year-olds who are ready for a fun learning environment.
Kids Church
Kids Church, for boys and girls in kindergarten thru 5th grade, is a Sunday morning program that builds upon what children have already learned, both at home and in previous classes. Our multi-faceted curriculum includes activities, music, drama and more to help children develop a relationship with Jesus Christ and to understand how the Word of God applies to their daily lives.
Foundations of Our Faith
Offered to 6th graders, Foundations is designed to give our youth a solid Biblical foundation upon which to build their lives. Students gain a vital understanding of core principles of the Christian faith such as salvation, the major covenants of Scripture, water baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Our textbook, Understanding God by Patricia Beall Gruits, is the starting point for lively group discussions and personal discovery. Class meets 10:30-12:00 pm on Sunday mornings from September through May, culminating in our Journey into Adulthood ceremony.
Journey into Adulthood (J2A)
Journey to Adulthood celebrates the point when students are released from Children’s Ministries and placed under the covering of our Youth Leaders. The entire congregation participates in the J2A ceremony, which honors the instruction the children have received and gives them the keys to walk into their unique destiny in Christ. Our prayer is that each child recognizes their spiritual responsibility and that they are surrounded by a family of godly men and women eager to help them become all God has created them to be.
FLIK
FLIK is our Wednesday evening program for children in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Recognizing that a traditional Bible study can be difficult for kids after being in school all day, we’ve developed classes that are fun, interactive and informative while reflecting our Christian values. Topics such as Photography, Cooking, Dance, Music Theory, Art, Pottery, Financial Peace, Character Development, Sports, and Gymnastics are offered in 6-week blocks and vary from semester to semester and age group.
