WHAT WE BELIEVE

Our desire is to focus on what brings us together as believers. While there are discretionary doctrines that allow room for disagreement, our core beliefs are non-negotiable and intended as a basis of fellowship.

GOD
We believe there is one true living God Who is the creator and ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

MAN
We believe man is made in the image of God. He is the supreme object of God's creation. Although God designed man to have fellowship with him, man became alienated from God through disobedience. As a result, all human beings are born with a sinful nature and choose to sin against God. Man is incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through his own efforts.

JESUS
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus was born of a virgin, lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven's glory and will return again to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

SALVATION
We believe salvation is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness and repenting of one’s sin can man be saved from sin's penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life by faith.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person, co-equal with the Father and Son, Who convicts the world of sin, righteousness and of judgment, and that He is the supernatural agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, by which believers are empowered and equipped for service and the accompanying gifts of the Spirit.

THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is God's Word to all men. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. We believe that in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, God has revealed Himself and given us an authoritative disclosure of His character and will.

THE CHURCH
We believe the one true and universal Church consists of those who have been redeemed by Jesus Christ and regenerated by the Holy Spirit; that the local church should be the expression of the one true and universal Church; that Christ appointed the ministries of the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher to equip the saints for the work of the ministry.
